I would gladly introduce to you one of my well-liked underground indie pop-rock bands from San Francisco, California.
A four-piece band formed during their high-school days by;
Scott Huerta (vocalist and guitarist)
Mackenzie Bunch (guitarist)
Thomas Huerta (bassist)
James Gallagher (drummer)
Coming from the small agriculture-based hometown of Ripon, California. The band members would go on to performing in small venues, writing and recording new music, and busking in street walk areas in town. As reputation builded up locally for the Cassettes, they were loved for their signature sound and through their growth as upcoming musicians.
In the hot summer of 2011 in Ripon, French Cassettes released their debut EP 'Summer Darling'. The critical response for the EP was well received and it caught the attention of future drummer for the Cassettes, James Gallagher.
Here is the one of my personal favourites on the debut EP 'Mouth Drum'

As they catch the attention of underground music lovers and critics from across the map, Cassettes developed their profound and infectious indie sound and released a full-length debut album in the summer of 2013 'Gold Youth'. This album comprises of promising power pop hooks and warming percussions. Gleefully flowing melodies reminiscent of Vampire Weekend's Contra or The Kooks's Junk of the Heart.

But personally, this one is my favourite from the album.
'Too Young'
I first listened to the band back in 2012 with a friend of mine by recommendation and immediately fell in love with their sound. I'm sure you will too. Ciao.
